Why GMAT?

The Graduate Management Admission Test ® (GMAT ®) is a standardized test designed to measure basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills developed over time through education and work. It evaluates:

Basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills

Ability to analyze and synthesize data

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Format and Length

The GMAT consists of four main parts: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative section, and Verbal section. The total duration of the test is 3.5 hours, with breaks extending the time to approximately 4 hours.

– Analytical Writing (AWA): 30 minutes

– Integrated Reasoning (IR): 30 minutes

– Quantitative Section: 75 minutes

– Verbal Section: 75 minutes

Scoring

The GMAT scores range from 200 to 800, with separate scores for Analytical Writing and Integrated Reasoning. The verbal and quantitative sections are graded on a range of 0 to 60 points. Average GMAT scores for top business schools typically range from 700 to 730.
