Mr. Anees Hussain has been providing quality test preparation services to students in Pakistan since 1989. He converted his organization to a Company in 2002 when he took on Mr. Salman Ghaffar, a long time associate and teacher as a partner and director. The company prepares students for local and international aptitude and admission tests, and is the most popular test preparation organization in the country.
Thousands of students have successfully prepared and gained admissions into the colleges of their choice through various courses offered by the company. Our success is such that over one-third of all students admitted to IBA (the oldest and most prestigious Business School in Pakistan ) are prepared by us.
Most universities in Pakistan conduct their own admission tests as opposed to relying on the international standard testing system of SAT, GMAT and GRE. We prepare students for admission tests of all the major universities in Pakistan , along with preparing international applicants for SAT, GMAT, GRE and IELTS. Other educational services include tuition facilities for primary and secondary level examinations, and O and A'Levels exams that are conducted by the Cambridge International Examinations, UK . We also provide career and college counseling for students.
In order to be successful at motivating students, education needs to be fun. Keeping this important aspect in mind, we at Anees Hussain’s have made sure that all students come with a view to learn something positive. Anees Hussain
Anees Hussain was born in Karachi, in 1941 and lived here for a brief period till his father was made “Dewan Sahib” or Prime Minister of Junagadh State. He stayed in Junagadh, India, till Partition.
He received his primary education at the Karachi Grammar School, from where he did his Ordinary (O) level, and then proceeded to England for his Advanced (A) Level.
Subsequently, he moved on to Cambridge from where he obtained an Engineering degree. Coming back to Karachi, he stayed there for a year and then proceeded to Columbia University for a Masters in Industrial Engineering. While doing his Masters, he also studied for a degree in Business Administration at Columbia’s Graduate School of Business, and at the end of four years,
graduated with a Masters of Philosophy in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. While working towards his degrees, he took 28 graduate courses, achieving 26 As and 2 Bs, thus earning him a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.94. He was awarded the Ford Foundation Fellowship for Doctoral Studies in Business Administration.
At the same time, he was offered a teaching position at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia. This was indeed a high honour bestowed upon a twenty-six year old Pakistani, who would be teaching a class with an average age of twenty nine years. Mr. Hussain discovered his passion in teaching, and got so involved that he never managed to finish his final thesis for the Ph.D.
Very early on in his teaching career, he became one of the top professors of the Graduate School of Business, and for 11 trimesters in a row was ranked first, second or third out of 110 faculty members in the teacher’s evaluation conducted by the student body.
On returning to Pakistan, Mr. Hussain established his tuition center in Karachi in 1989 with the aim of making the pursuit of education a fun-filled and intriguing experience for the young scholars of this country. His method of teaching, so successful in Columbia, soon gained favour amongst the youth of the city and within a year his students were achieving unheard-of success rates.
He has now been preparing students for international certification examinations, as well as entrance tests to numerous local universities since 1989, during which he has also taught in some of the best schools of Karachi such as Karachi Grammar School, The Lyceum School, City School, Beaconhouse Public School, International School of Karachi, College of Business Management (CBM) Karachi, Asian Management Institute (AMI) and Griffith College. However, his mission is to get children into the colleges of their choice, which is also the primary purpose of his tuition centers.

Salman Ghaffar
Salman started his teaching career teaching Mathematics with Mr. Hussain in 1995. He graduated from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in 1999 with an MBA in Finance and has worked for Habib Bank Limited as a Credit Officer and Procter & Gamble Pakistan Limited as a Financial Analyst.
In 2002, he joined the Anees Hussain team as a full-time member, and is currently the CEO of Anees Hussain. He teaches Math and Verbal skills for all major admission tests, including IBA, SAT, GMAT and GRE. He himself has an IELTS Score of 9.0 (which is the highest band that can be achieved) and is available at the main campus at DHA Phase 6.

Irfan Ghaffar
Irfan Ghaffar is an MBA (2004) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi with a major in Marketing. He was the Vice President of the Student Body at IBA from 2003 till 2004. After graduation, Irfan joined the corporate sector and worked for PSO (Cards Division) and Habib Bank Ltd (Corporate Banking). He then joined Anees Hussain Educational Institutes as a Director in 2006.
Irfan started teaching in 2000 and has been a teacher and a trainer for over 20 years now. He has prepared thousands of students for various local and international admissions & aptitude tests. Irfan has conducted various training workshops at IBA & CBM for final year graduating students. He has trained many teachers on effective communication and delivery and has also conducted training workshops at the corporate level. Irfan has also been an adjunct faculty member at SZABIST.

Nouman Ghaffar
Nouman is an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and has worked for Shell Pakistan and MCB Asset Management. He has been preparing students in Math and Verbal since the year 2002 for all International and Local admission tests including IBA, LUMS, IoBM, SAT, GMAT & GRE.
His personal score on the GMAT is 740 out of 800 (97th Percentile) and he has also successfully cleared all CFA levels and the Financial Risk Management exam.

Raiyyan Ghaffar
Raiyyan Ghaffar is a BBA (2017) from Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi with a major in Marketing. He has always been a sports enthusiast and has participated in various sports activities at IOBM. After graduation, he joined Anees Hussain Educational Institutes as a Director in 2018.
Raiyyan started teaching in 2012 and has been a teacher and a trainer for over 10 years now. He has prepared many students in Math and Numerical reasoning for various Local and International Aptitude tests. He has also prepared students for job aptitude tests, both, locally and internationally.
