The Foundation
for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST) was established
in 1980, as a private national institution. Registered
as a charitable institution, FAST has grown into one of
the most reputable institutes in the country and many
of its students are now in excellent positions in organizations
throughout the country.

Teaching
Methodology
At Anees Hussain’s Way we prepare our students for
all of the sections of the test through teachers who are
experts in these fields. Regular tests are taken to assess
students’ preparation. In addition, we also provide
extra classes to make up for weaknesses. Since the test
covers Inter Level subjects, it is important that students
join the course from the beginning to ensure that they
pass the admission test.
The FAST test preparation course is conducted in a classroom
format. Students from different walks of life come together
and work as a group towards a single goal. Our environment
facilitates learning via teacher-student interaction,
study groups and individual attention for weaker students.

Material
Our expertise in test preparation is facilitated by the
years of hard work put into our study material. It has
been selected and compiled from a variety of sources,
including work sheets developed on each subject by Anees
Hussain himself, regular up-to-date books from the different
publishers and re-creations of the actual tests themselves.
About the Test
The FAST entrance test comprises of sections in Inter
Level Mathematics, English (Antonyms, Synonyms, Analogies
and Reading comprehension) and Inter Level Physics. In
2007 the university conducted weekly tests over a period
of three months (February to April); in attempt to introduce
standardize testing for three Pakistani universities,
namely; GIKI, NUST and FAST. This was a pilot project
and the decision on efficacy of the testing method is
yet to be taken, till then the university will continue
with the regular testing process, whereby the test is
conducted once a year in July.
Success
Rate
More than 50% of our students have on an average cleared
the FAST admission process. This is mainly due to the
high quality of teaching at Anees Hussain’s coupled
with our vast experience in admissions test preparation.
